Kick-off for the RESOLVE project – a new Marie Skลodowska-Curie Staff Exchange action coordinated by IRPI

RESOLVE starts now! A new MSCA-SE project for ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ค๐ญ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ-๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐ค๐ฐ-๐ด๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ณ๐ข๐ช๐ญ๐ธ๐ข๐บ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ต๐ฉ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฌ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ถ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ด๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ถ๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด (NBS). Coordinated by Giulia Bossi, RESOLVE will focus on mitigating geohazards and balancing biodiversity to provide a protocol for using NBS effectively.

The four-year project will support the exchange of students, researchers and technicians to share knowledge regarding mapping, natural hazards and ecosystems, geomaterials and unsaturated soil mechanics, nature based solutions and connectivity, and decision support systems and AI
RESOLVE is the sister project of UPGRADE project – MSCA Staff Exchange (also coordinated by IRPI). The goal is to integrate both projects to create an extensive network of experts on Long Linear Infrastructure (LLI) management to develop an holistic approach on how to address the perfect storm lingering on our LLI, encompassing climate change, ageing and budget constraints.
