A researcher of CNR IRPI, Lorenzo Marchi, has been hosted from November 12 to December 10 by the Servicio Geológico Nacional (SGN) of the Dominican Republic. The visit was carried out in the frame of the MSCA Staff Exchange UPGRADE project, coordinated by CNR IRPI.

The visit aimed to support SGN in the implementation of an early warning system for flash floods and to explore the possibility of further collaboration between CNR IRPI and SGN.

Dr. Marchi presented the research activities of CNR IRPI at the Universidad Tecnólogica del Cibao Oriental.
