Last week we had the pleasure to host in Perugia Geomorphometry 2025 (June 9–13) — the 8th edition of the conference organized by CNR IRPI, the University of Perugia, and the International Society for Geomorphometry (ISG).

Geomorphometry is the science of digital terrain analysis and its application are in fields such as hydrology, geohazards, studies of landforms and landscapes, tectonic studies, and Earth and planetary observation and exploration.

The event brought together 85 participants from across the globe to discuss methods, tools, and applications in the field of geomorphometry. The conference included side activities, such as a field trip to Civita di Bagnoregio, a DEMIX (DEM Intercomparison eXercise by ESA), and an AIGeo meeting.
