My research activities deal with: (i) analysis and mapping of landslides in different climatic, geological and morphological environments, using traditional and innovative techniques; (ii) analysis of space–time variations of denudation processes; (iii) analysis of landslide susceptibility; (iv) characterization of soil features using traditional and innovative techniques; (v) analysis of soil erosion rates and soil erosion risk; (vi)  analysis of gully erosion susceptibility; (vii) analysis and mapping soil carbon stocks; (viii) implementation of geo-environmental database in GIS environment.  I have published more than 45 scientific papers in ISI journals on various topics in geomorphology and soil science.
