Memorandum of Understanding

The overall purpose of the Memorandum is to share knowledge in the field of natural hazards prediction and modelling, and specifically the joint cooperation through one or more of the following activities:
- scientific research including:
- multi-scale geo-hydrological and soil erosion mapping;
- estimation of geo-hydrological hazards impacts and risk analysis;
- developments, testing, and validation of geo-hydrological and soil erosion models;
- natural hazard spatial/temporal modelling using data driven and Artificial Intelligence approaches;
- educational activities and outreach in subjects of common interest;
- mobility of staff and researchers through a procedure jointly agreed by the Parties;
- exchange of information and bibliographic materials and sharing of know-how on technical-scientific equipment;
- participation in seminars and meetings.
