Memorandum of Understanding
The purpose of this Memorandum is the joint cooperation through one or more of the following activities:
- scientific research;
- organisation of training programmes, symposia, conferences, short courses and meeting on research issues of mutual interest;
- mobility of academic staff and researchers;
- mobility of students and doctoral candidates for academic activities to be recognized through a procedure jointly agreed by the Parties;
- exchange of information, resources and expertise pertaining to developments in geo-hydro-meteorological monitoring (ground and satellite observations), landslides, flash floods and droughts, groundwater, climate change and natural hazards (floods, landslides, melting glaciers, earthquakes) studies, methodologies, research and innovation;
- design and execute collaborative research and continuing education programs;
- co-operation in any other areas of interest of the Parties, as agreed to by the Parties.
