My research focuses on the characterisation of mass movement and transport processes at different scales, from bedload transport to large landslides. In particular, I am interested in the seismic detection of debris flows and slope instabilities for the development of early warning systems. My research interests also concern soil erosion processes and land and water management in semi-arid lands. Having experienced how companies and NGOs work and execute their projects, I am also interested in continuing working as consultant in the field of techinical cooperation. My career goal is to join research and dissemination in the fields of natural hazards and management of natural resources.
