Glaciers lost half of their area since 1850. “Every year glaciers retreat about 5 meters”. The researcher Cristina Viani: global warming affects Sesia Valley too

The article is written by Maria Cuscela (La Stampa Vercelli) based on the interview to Cristina Viani. Published (16/09/2018) on La Stampa, Vercelli section.
The article concerns the effects of climate change on the cryosphere and in particular on the glaciers of the Sesia Valley.
