Presentation
Geologist and Senior Researcher, qualified as Associate Professor (Professor of the Second Level) in 2013 and 2023 (Sector 04/A3: Applied Geology, Physical Geography, and Geomorphology). She conducts research in the field of geo-hydrological risks using a multi-hazard approach. Her scientific work focuses on the impact of landslides and floods on populations, the assessment of damage caused by geo-hydrological events, and the analysis of the relationships between climate change and risk dynamics.
Her research results are published in indexed international scientific journals, while data collected through numerous historical studies are organized into databases made available via international repositories and data catalogs, also published as e-books.
Included in the Top 2% Scientists List for 2025 and 2024 (Stanford University & Elsevier Rankings).
