The nominations follows the proposal presented by CNR IRPI last year, which, after a technical evaluation by an ICL Committee, and the endorsement by an Indipendent Panel of Experts, was supported by the Assistant Director-General for Natural Science of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesco.org\" target=\"_blank\">UNESCO<\/a>.
