On January 23 and 24, Prof. G\u00fcnter Bl\u00f6schl, Professor at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) and the University of Bologna, will visit the IRPI Cosenza Office. Former President of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), he is the author of numerous articles, particularly in the field of hydrology, published in prestigious international scientific journals, including Nature and Science.<\/p>\n

The program for the visit is as follows:<\/p>\n

– Thursday, January 23 (4:00 PM), Prof. G\u00fcnter Bl\u00f6schl will deliver a lecture titled “The Importance of on-site Laboratories: the HOAL Experience in Austria\u201d. This presentation is part of the event “Effective Synergy for Landslide Risk Mitigation: Data and Models in Multiscale and Circular Platforms”, under the framework of the Tech4You Ecosystem – Spoke 1 – Goal 1, coordinated by Roberto Coscarelli (see flyer<\/a>).<\/p>\n

– Friday, January 24 (9:00 AM), Prof. G\u00fcnter Bl\u00f6schl will give a lecture on “Socio-hydrology: Contributions to Science and Practice” in the Meeting Room at the IRPI Cosenza Office. His day will continue at the University of Calabria, where, starting at 11:00 AM, he and Director Moramarco will participate as speakers at the Study Day “Ennio Ferrari”.<\/p>\n
