Ricchetti 2015 award: Stefano Crema awarded the Ricchetti 2015 prize for research done by young scientist

In the framework of the 10th GIT (Geosciences and Information Technologies) Conference held in San Leo (18 June 2015 – Italy), Stefano Crema, post doc at the Italian National Research Council, Research Institute for Geo-Hydrological Protection (CNR IRPI), won the Evaristo “Ivo” Ricchetti 2015 award for the best young scientist contribution, with the presentation: “Improvement of a free software tool for the assessment of sediment connectivity, process identification and feature characterization in alpine catchments” (Crema S., Lanni C., Goldin B., Marchi L., Cavalli M.).
The award recognizes the novelty and the technical and scientific quality of the contribution. This is the third Ricchetti award to CNR IRPI young researchers (Giulia Bossi awarded in 2014 and Alessia Viero in the 2011 edition).
