As of 1 January 2026, Dr. Marco Cavalli will take on the role of Head of the Padua Branch of the Institute for Research on Geo-Hydrological Protection (CNR-IRPI), succeeding Dr. Alessandro Pasuto. After many years of service at the Institute, Dr. Pasuto will conclude his term of office as he reaches retirement. The Institute extends its heartfelt thanks to him for the valuable scientific and human contribution he has provided throughout his long career. At the same time, the Institute offers Dr. Cavalli its best wishes for success in his new appointment and in the continuation of research and coordination activities at the Padua Branch.
