He graduated in "Networks and IT systems" and in "Information management systems", receiving the Ph.D. in "Earth sciences" at the University of Turin working on data analysis methods for rainfall estimation using meteorological radars. In the past, he worked for some important companies and research centers in Piedmont such as Reply and CSP, also collaborating with FIAT, ARPA Piemonte and CSI Piemonte. Over the years he worked in different IT fields going from cloud computing and databases through system management and software development, often discussing his work during national and international conferences and publishing his results in scientific journals. He has been a professor in some technical institutes and science high schools of the Piedmont, as well as teaching for several years in two courses of the "Software services and cloud computing" master of the University of Turin and in two other courses of the "Master in multichannel marketing" of the University of Biella. Currently, he works for the CNR where he deals with many IT activities, both for the IRPI in general and for the Geohazard Monitoring Group, improvising himself as a webmaster for the site http://gmg.irpi.cnr.it and as a postmaster for the whole institute.
